We are pleased to announce the release of the Organic Food System Programme (OFSP) Second Report (2022–2024). This comprehensive document highlights significant achievements in advancing organic food systems as models for sustainable transformation. As a core initiative of the United Nations’ One Planet Network, OFSP continues to demonstrate how organic systems can act as living laboratories for sustainable transformation.
The report highlights achievements in 5 key Deliverables:
- Deliverable 1: Creation of a robust information platform, connecting partners across five continents, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Deliverable 2: Documentation and support for organic territories, including newly established bio-districts in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
- Deliverable 3: Expansion of educational resources to make organic food system knowledge accessible to diverse stakeholders, from farmers to policymakers.
- Deliverable 4: Detailed studies on the health and environmental benefits of organic diets and farming practices, with insights into improving global food systems.
- Deliverable 5: Enhanced capabilities for tracking, sharing, and reporting the impact of organic practices to drive greater support and awareness.
